Being a company committed to research and development, we employ a team of well qualified specialist engineers who are equipped with the latest high technology 3D design tools.
As a world leader in our field, our reputation is built on innovation and communication. Breuer have won many technology awards for new development ideas and concepts, particular in the design of modern variable frequency drive systems.
Breuer motor and frequency drives solutions can be found in many applications around the world and in many different industries. The global product highlight is the ecoVert VFM variable frequency motor range that has been in use for years in underground coal mining worldwide and now is available for oilfield exploration. The ecoVert VFM is an integrated motor and drive system that provides a very compact design which isideal for drilling.
Breuer motors and drives can also be found as free standing systems on oil platforms, gas drilling rigs, rail and special purpose vehicles. The specialty motors include a wide range of top-drives, mud pumps and draw work motors. Every application can be supplied with a purpose fit customer specific VFD cabinet including software solution to ensure total functionality and availability of management information.
Breuer AC TopDrive motors are 100% customized to suit our customers’ needs and new ideas. Water and air cooled motors for onshore and offshore rigs are widely compatible with any type of equipment and can be easily exchanged. The new generation of our low noise TopDrive motors provides new opportunities for drilling in housing areas. Our motors are designed and certified to operate over all temperature ranges.
ecoVert Cabinet converter
The Cabinet ecoVert VFD product line with its modular design and high power capability offers the reliability, safety and flexibility required to meet the ever increasing demands of this industry. It is ideally suitable for power control room (PCR) or TopDrive container due to ease of installation and secure operation in EMC sensitive areas.
Oilfield ecoVert VFM
The Oilfield ecoVert VFM is a unique combination of a Breuer high quality drilling motor perfectly integrated with a Breuer high power variable frequency drive. It is designed specifically to increase machine availability for drilling applications while saving energy costs and reducing installation size.
The Oilfield ecoVert VFM is a unique combination of a Breuer high quality drilling motor perfectly integrated with a Breuer high power variable frequency drive. It is designed specifically to increase machine availability for drilling applications while saving energy costs and reducing installation size. Integration of the VFD means that the system is factory pre-set and tested thereby requiring no on-site commissioning or tuning by the operator. Due to the stable operation of this drive, the end user can see the monetary advantage of installing the same type of the drive for all drilling applications. The VFM gives other end user benefits such as reduced maintenance, increased torque capability and reduced inertia. With a lubrication system designed to operate for 50,000 hours, the VFM will extend the life of all system mechanical components. Electrically, the VFM utilizes short VFD to motor cable links within one frame which reduces electrical noise, voltage drop and minimizes motor temperature rise.
